I was out on our deck in Stilwell, Kansas, watching a thunderstorm roll in. I noticed this Red Tailed Hawk perched on a dead limb across the street. Our house sat high above the road and I was on about the same level as it was. I had time to go in the house and grab my camera and get several exposures of this beautiful bird while it too was taking in the storm. I loved thew way the trees in the foreground framed it.
