This photograph, captured at the same time as “Winged Battle”, was shot at the Lake of The Ozarks in central Missouri. Shooting Hummingbirds requires some quick reflexes and having the camera set to freeze motion as best as possible. They do not stick around for long. Capturing these incredible little birds in focus is the biggest challenge. With the morning backlight and sparkly green bokah, this is one of my favorite images.
