On our hike to the top of Pagosa Peak near Pagosa Springs, Colorado, we came across these beautiful Columbine flowers. Once again I love to shoot with a shallow depth of field for these types of images. I had the opportunity to get a very low angle of the flowers with the forest back lit in the background. The flowers were in perfect shape. Classic Colorado mountain wildflowers.
