Chris and I camped at the Molas Lake campground near Silverton, Colorado for three nights. We were up before sunrise all three days to set the shot, and this image was captured on day two. I shot hundreds of exposures that morning as the sun worked its way up. I wanted to wait until the sun rose high enough to give the trees on the far banks their sunny edge. The water was still perfectly still except for a few hungry trout breaking the surface.
