This image was shot in the late afternoon on my friend's property in rural Missouri. There is a hillside there where the grasses in the fall are really beautiful. I have photographed this hillside on many occasions, and this may be my favorite. There is an old fence line of abandoned wooden posts running along the hillside that provide a very simple and interesting point of focus. But this shot has always been about the colors of the grasses to me, and the peaceful feeling I get while there.
