On a golden hour photo expedition following a heavy snow fall, this was the final image we captured that evening. We noticed the colors on the mountain range that sits to the east of Pagosa Springs, Colorado. One of the most recognizable peaks is called “Squaretop”. We drove to the top of a hill to get a better view. While the truck was stopped in the middle of this snowy road, I hopped out and captured this beautiful sunset right before it disappeared.. We had been looking for a way to capture a cool image of Squaretop since we moved here. It makes a beautiful print that anyone living or visiting Pagosa Springs in the winter months will recognize.
