Monarch Lake Reflections

This shot of the beautiful Monarch Lake, just south and east of Lake Granby was photographed in September 2022. It was our third trip to the lake while we were staying in the area. There’s an easy four mile hike around the lake that is quite popular, and very beautiful, but if you get there early enough in the morning, you can have it to yourself. As we arrived early on a Saturday morning, the water was perfectly still and the reflections were amazing.

Our other image of Monarch Lake, “Goosebumps- Monarch Lake” was on a rainy stormy day earlier in the week. We love them both.
