These little beauties grew wild on our property in Stilwell, KS. The backside of our home was massive limestone boulders and the Wild Red Columbine grew out of cracks and crevices in the stones. They were only in full bloom for a few weeks and after looking at them for 30 years, I finally went out and captured some images.
