One of the coolest things about Silverton, Colorado is the daily arrival of the Durango to Silverton trains. We learned that after they come into town, they unload the passengers for a couple of hours so they can explore Silverton, grab some lunch and get some Silverton swag. After the trains unload, they perform a series of maneuvers to turn around on the tracks in town. This image was after the trains were turned around and were awaiting the passengers for the return trip to Durango. This is an iconic Silverton image - one we had not seen anywhere else.
