Ping Pong White

We shot this cool little flower at the Overland Park Arboretum on a late summer day. When I looked up the flower to see what it was, I was amused to see it called Ping Pong White, along with it’s more technical name, Gomphrena globosa. Made me think of Bill Murray in “Caddyshack”. I would have named them golf ball white. Anyway.. I love the very shallow depth of field in this shot. So subtle.
